Angelo's Biography

Angelo C. Valenti, Ph.D. received his graduate degree from the University of Georgia in 1976. At that time he joined the faculty of Oklahoma City University as an instructor and shortly thereafter was named Chairman of the Psychology Department.

In 1980, Dr. Valenti moved to Memphis to become a staff consultant with the psychological consulting firm of RHR International. In this position, he conducted organizational studies, psychological assessments, and consulted with management in a variety of industries.

Two years later, Dr. Valenti came to Nashville to establish a private consulting practice. Since that time he has served as a psychological consultant for a client base consisting of publicly traded organizations, private companies and family owned businesses in a variety of industries including insurance, publishing, health care, retail, financial services, manufacturing, printing, inventory control, transportation and distribution.

Dr. Valenti is a public speaker, a published author, and is active in many civic and professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association (Division 13 - Consulting Psychology). He is also an avid golfer. He and his wife, Ginger, have three children.
